Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (Terms) are an agreement between you and Maratha Manch (we, us, or our). They apply when you visit, register for, or use our matrimonial platform and related services. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using the service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use the service for another person, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that these Terms apply to both of you where relevant.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use Maratha Manch. Keep your registration details accurate, current, and complete. Your account is personal to you; do not share, transfer, sell, or let another person use it. You are responsible for activity on your account and must promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised access.

Profiles, matches, and member interactions

Maratha Manch provides tools to help members discover and communicate with potential matches. We do not guarantee that you will receive interest, find a match, enter a relationship, or marry through the platform. Profiles and member-provided information may not always be complete or accurate. Use your own judgement, verify important information independently, and take sensible precautions before meeting or sharing personal information with another member.

Your responsibilities

When using the service, you must act lawfully, honestly, and respectfully. You must not:

• create a false, misleading, duplicate, or unauthorised profile; impersonate another person; or provide information you do not have the right to share;
• harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate against, or otherwise harm another person;
• request money, financial details, passwords, identity documents, or other sensitive information from another member;
• post unlawful, defamatory, sexually explicit, infringing, or harmful content;
• scrape, copy, reverse engineer, interfere with, or try to bypass the platform's security, access controls, or limits; or
• use the service for advertising, commercial solicitation, fraud, or any purpose unrelated to finding a life partner.

Your content and profile information

You remain responsible for the information, photos, and other content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and use that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service in accordance with your privacy and visibility settings. Do not upload content that violates another person's privacy, intellectual-property rights, or applicable law.

Limited verification, profile accuracy, and safety

A verification or review indicator means that Maratha Manch has verified the phone number and, where verification is completed, the email address associated with an account. Submitted videos are reviewed manually to prevent unsuitable content from being uploaded. These checks do not confirm a member's legal identity, that a photo or video belongs to the person named in a profile, or that any profile field, document, statement, intention, or other member-provided information is accurate, complete, current, or genuine. You must independently verify information that is important to you before relying on it, sharing personal information, making a payment, or meeting another member. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maratha Manch is not responsible for disputes, claims, losses, or harm arising from a member's inaccurate, misleading, or unauthorised profile content, media, identity claim, conduct, or interaction. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. We may investigate reports, limit features, or suspend or close accounts when reasonably necessary to protect members, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

Memberships, payments, and refunds

Paid features, plan duration, pricing, and applicable taxes are shown before you place an order. You authorise the payment method you choose to be charged for the selected membership. Unless a plan explicitly states otherwise at purchase, membership does not renew automatically. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains cancellations, billing corrections, and when a refund may be available; it is part of these Terms.

Intellectual property

The service, including its software, brand, design, and original content, is owned by or licensed to Maratha Manch and protected by applicable law. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you. You may not use our name, marks, or content without prior written permission.

Third-party services

The service may rely on payment providers, identity-verification tools, storage providers, or links to third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices outside our reasonable control.

Privacy and communications

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal data. We may send service, safety, account, payment, and legally required notices. You can manage optional communications and consent choices from your account settings where available.

Suspension, termination, and availability

You may stop using the service at any time and can request account deletion from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access where permitted by law, including for a breach of these Terms, a safety risk, fraud, or prolonged inactivity. We work to keep the service available and secure, but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or risk-free operation.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an as-available basis. We do not make warranties about the outcome of member interactions or the accuracy, conduct, or compatibility of members. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service, our legal obligations, or our safety practices change. We will post the revised version on this page and update the date above. Where required or appropriate, we will provide additional notice. Continuing to use the service after an updated version takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
